new in: black + metal

BLACK. Sorry for not posting yesterday, went out to buy some xmas gifts and after about one hour I felt like I was going to pass out. I guess I’m coming down with a cold or something because I’ve been feeling exhausted the entire weekend, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it’s just a 48-hour thing, really don’t have time to be sick right now! Anyway, didn’t manage to find any presents, besides the ones above that I bought for myself, hehe. The cashmere beanie is quickly becoming one of my favorite accessories,¬† it’s super cozy and perfect for bad hair days (which I seem to be having a lot of these days) plus it gives the perfect sporty touch to every outfit I pair it with which I love! OK before I fall asleep on the keyboard I’m gonna head back to the couch again. My sweet¬† boyfriend just came home with some gingerbread ice cream (how awesome??) and if that doesn’t cure this cold, I don’t know what will ;)

COS cashmere beanie, H&M patent clutch, COS leather gloves, H&M metal choker, Vogue Paris.

THE DRESS. Yesterday I found the perfect dress (exactly the kind I’ve been looking for since forever), on sale for like $25. I walk home on clouds, so happy about my new amazing dress, and when I get home I realize that I have lost the bag with the dress in.

I have spent the day calling all the stores and places I visited yesterday but the shopping bag is no where to be seen. I have been to 5 stores, but the dress is sold out everywhere. My perfect dress = gone forever. If I only had lost one of the other bags I carried around instead. I’m sad beyond words.

the cape

Raspberry red silk cape, vintage from Lailo (barcelona). Lace dress, Gina Tricot. Shoes, Minimarket. Necklaces, Efva Attling + vintage (Miami).

VOILA. When I saw it in the window at the vintage shop Lailo, I knew I had to have it. When I tried it on, it was like we where ment for each other. It was love at first sight. According to the owner of the boutique it had been used at the opera in Barcelona before which makes it even more special (I love garment that has a history!). Before I bought it my boyfriend asked me when I planned on using it. – When I’m going to the grocery store to buy milk! I replied. It’s by far the most gorgeous thing I have _ever_ owned.
