NYC. My super talented friend Zanita snapped these pictures of me during the snowstorm that hit New York a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love the moody light in them! Even though the city looks quite peaceful in these pictures I can assure you that was definitely not the case, and I’m pretty sure I was actually hoovering above the ground due to the strong winds at one point when we shot these photos. But you know what they say, no pain no gain, and I really love how the pictures turned out!

NYC. Woke up to some pretty sweet spring weather this morning and decided to throw on my fringe boots and prance around in the sun for a while. Can’t believe I’m leaving New York next week even though it’s for a good reason (my birthday!!), but I still have seven precious days left in the big city and I fully intend to make the most of them!

NYC. As you’ve probably noticed I’m not a big fan of heavy winter jackets so in order to stay warm during the colder months I go for lots of layers on top of uniqlo heattech tops and leggings. One of my absolute favorite pieces for layering is this leather vest I bought at H&M 2 years ago. It looks good on top of/underneath pretty much anything (in this case layered over an awesome s/s 13 Andemiu jacket) and it’s one of those pieces I always bring with me when I travel!
