LONDON. After two cancelled flights, lots of delays and over 30 hours sans sleep, I’m finally in London and I can’t put into words how much I’ve missed this city! This morning I was finally reunited with my BFF Andy whom I haven’t seen for 6 insanely long months which we celebrated with some afternoon tea at Liberty’s. I’m only in town for a couple of days before heading to Stockholm on Monday but really wish I could stay longer. London is one of my absolute favorite cities and I’m beyond excited for this weekend. BEST OF. 2013 is coming to an end and it has truly been one of the most exciting years of my life. I’ve been blessed with great work oportunities, met new amazing people and of course, made the jump and moved across the Atlantic to my new hometown, New York. All in all, I would say it’s been a pretty spectacular year and 2014 has some pretty large shoes to fill, but I have no doubt that next year will be equally wonderful. Thank you so, so much for continuing to follow my adventures on the blog, I don’t say it enough but it really means the world to me. So, with these pictures we say goodbye to 2013, and I wish all of you a magical 2014!

TWINSIES. When my best friend Andy was in town over the weekend, we joked about how we always buy the same things, often without each others knowledge. So, when we realized that we had almost identical outfits packed in our suitcases, we decided to have some fun with it. After obsessively googling pictures of creepy twin girls for an hour or so, the idea of this photo shoot was born, and I have to say, it was one of the most fun shoots I’ve ever done!

PARIS. As I mentioned in my previous post, I did a second trip to Paris from tuesday to wednesday to attend the Louis Vuitton S/S 13 show. Although we may look relaxed in these pictures I can tell you that was totally not the case. On our way to the show, me and Andy got stuck in traffic and ended up having to run the last 200 meters (in high heels) to the sound of the guards outside the show space counting down the minutes until the show started. We arrived at 09.59 and as soon as we found our seats, the lights went down and the show started. Talk about last minute!!
The show itself was a magical ode to the 60’s featuring cute mod girls in couples of two, cascading down four massive escalators onto the checkered runway. The models sported cute beehives, pea coats, maxi skirts, mini dresses, crop tops and short jackets, all covered in graphic squares in white and sunshine yellow – a fresh contrast to last years romanticly themed runway show.
Huge thanks to LV for inviting me, and to my running partner Andy for not leaving me behind when my left shoe almost fell off during our sprint to the show. Never ever thought we would make it on time but somehow we did and I could not have picked a better team mate! ;)
