I’ve answered a couple of questions about trends for spring 2010 in todays issue of the swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter. Swedes, check it out! Non swedes, read the translated version below:

Key pieces for spring 2010? Dresses (floral/ tie dye/animal prints or assymetrical), the white shirt/blouse, jackets with shoulder details, light denim, sheer- or leather details, big sunglasses and the “knicker-short” shorts that were seen on every other show (if anyone mortal dares to wear them remains to be seen).

What will you be wearing? Girly vintagedresses, socks in open shoes, lot’s of blue, metallics, leather pieces, big knitted cardies, sheer blouses, rough boots and loose jackets.

What will you be inspired by? Old Chloé campaigns, they’re magical!

Favorite s/s 10 collection? Proenza Schoulers surf/skate inspired collection was fantastic, and Dries Van Notens way of mixing patterns is amazing.

Your best styling advice? Don’t save your best pieces for parties, dress them down with basics and wear them during the day!
