Pictures by Mattias Swenson NYC. Woke up to some pretty sweet spring weather this morning and decided to throw on my fringe boots and prance around in the sun for a while. Can’t believe I’m leaving New York next week even though it’s for a good reason (my birthday!!), but I still have seven precious days left in the big city and I fully intend to make the most of them! leather vest
NYC. As you’ve probably noticed I’m not a big fan of heavy winter jackets so in order to stay warm during the colder months I go for lots of layers on top of uniqlo heattech tops and leggings. One of my absolute favorite pieces for layering is this leather vest I bought at H&M 2 years ago. It looks good on top of/underneath pretty much anything (in this case layered over an awesome s/s 13 Andemiu jacket) and it’s one of those pieces I always bring with me when I travel! Brooklyn Bridge
Pictures by Mattias Swenson & Nicole Warne NYC. Had the most amazing weekend running around town doing touristy things with Nicole and one of my favorite places we stopped by was the Brooklyn Bridge. Eventhough I’ve been to New York countless times, one of the places I’ve never visited is the Brooklyn Bridge, so for me it was a dream come true to finally go there. Although shooting blog pictures on top of a bridge in the middle of a storm might not have been our brightest idea, it still was a magical experience watching the pastel colored sunset over the city! Pictures, Mattias Swenson NYC. Finally got my hands on this awesome, flared trench coat I wore during the photo shoot of Andemiu’s s/s 13 campaign back in december. It’s one of those classic pieces that looks good with anything and I love how timeless it is! Today it’s been raining non stop for the past couple of hours and I’ve been stuck inside drinking tea and editing pictures from my touristy weekend adventures with Nicole all day long. We got some pretty awesome pictures on the Brooklyn bridge that I can’t wait to show you guys, but until then, you can check out some sneak peeks on my instagram @carolinaengman.
