Isn’t it funny how traveling makes you realize which pieces in your wardrobe you truly cherish? That’s how it is for me anyway. Take these Jimmy Choo pumps for example, they’re always among the first things I put in my suitcase because not only do they look good with everything, they’re also comfortable which are two of my key packing rules.

The striped top + the two-tone boyfriend jeans I’m wearing above are two new favorites that I’ve been wearing non-stop the past couple of weeks, a sure sign that they will join me on many trips in the future!

The older I get, the more I find myself drawn to timeless pieces that I know will last for years to come, like the ones I’m wearing in this outfit for example. They’re all trusted wardrobe favorites that I keep wearing over and over again, yet somehow I never seem to get tired of them. This year one of my New Years resolutions will definitely be to invest in more classics because they truly are the foundation of every great wardrobe!

Sorry for the radio silence guys! I took the red-eye to Stockholm and landed on Thursday morning and since then it’s all been a whirlwind of Christmas shopping, birthday dinners and catching up with friends. We’ve been staying at Scandic Grand Central over the weekend (aka my home away from home) and I’ve spent almost every morning in these large, beautiful windows with a big cup of tea, watching people rush by below. Love being back in town!
