SATURDAY. This sweater has been hiding in the back of my closet for weeks with the price tag still attached and I had kind of forgotten about it until I rediscovered it this morning. And you know what? It kind of turned out to be the perfect sweater – high neck, super long sleeves, slit side hems and most importantly, super warm. Definitely a keeper! Isn’t it ironic how the best place to find new, amazing pieces sometimes turns out to be your own closet?

SHOES. When I got to the office this morning I found a big box waiting for me at my desk. And inside I found these gorgeous heels designed by my friend Chiara. Thank you so much babe, they are stunning!

LEOPARD. Christmas is slowly sneaking up on us (I mean, just look at all those christmas trees lurking in the background of these pictures..) and still, no snow as far as the eye can see. Not that I’m complaining, snow + high heels aren’t exactly a match made in heaven and I’m not ready to change into flat boots just yet!
These leopard print Zara jeans are another pair I found during my Barcelona trip. The waist is a little too low for my taste, so I paired them with one of my boyfriends denim shirts, and voila, not even visible. They’re a whole lot of fun to play around with so you can definitely expect to see a lot more of these pants on the blog!

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20, Oil free.
TINTED MOISTURIZER. Since I’ve been getting a whole lot of comments about my makeup, I thought I’d start a new series here on the blog called “Beauty favorites” where I dish on my must-have beauty products. First out is one of the products that I absolutely can’t live without, the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturize SPF20.
I first discovered the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer earlier this summer when I wanted to find something light to wear on hot summer days. I bought the original oil-based one but noticed that it made my face look a bit shiny so I changed to the oil free version and have been wearing it ever since. If you’re looking for a lot of coverage you might have to look elsewhere but if you just want something really light that evens out your skin tone a bit, this is the perfect product! I’m using the lightest shade called Porcelain, which miraculously works on my super pale face (if finding jeans with a good fit is hard, you should try finding a foundation that looks good on really fair skin – almost impossible).
This baby also contains SPF 20 which is great for protecting your skin from sun damage. Some people find this one a bit pricey but I never compromise when it comes to foundation (or in this case, tinted moisturizers). The base, in my opinion, really is what makes or breaks a good makeup, and I think it’s worth investing a couple of extra bucks if you find something that works for you!
