NYFW. When the lovely people at Rebecca Minkoff asked me if I wanted to wear something from their fall 11 collection for the Rebecca Minkoff x Socialyte event during New York fashion week, it took me about two seconds to say yes. Did a quick visit to their showroom and probably looked like a kid in a candy store while trying to decide between all the stunning garments. Ended up wearing this gorgeous dress in the softest leather and kind of felt like cinderella when I had to drop it off at midnight to head back to the hotel and get some sleep before my super early London flight the morning after. Huge thanks to Rebecca for letting me wear this stunning dress to the event, had so much fun!!

Still have so many photos to post from the trips I made these past weeks so stay tuned for some more time traveling ;)

first day of fall

HELLO AUTUMN. Yesterday was the first day I experienced real, crisp, fall weather this year and I enjoyed every second of it. Fall has always been my favorite time of the year, not only because you can bust out your nicest fall coats and knits , light 100 candles and cuddle up with your favorite book + a nice cup of tea while the cold wind chases away the last leaves, but also because it’s the time of the year when I feel the most inspired.

The midnight blue coat and the burgundy Kurt Geiger clutch are two new friends that I picked up in London last week and the cap is from a random sports store I walked by the other day. Can’t even remember the last time I wore a baseball cap, probably in middle school(?) but all of a sudden I feel like wearing them with everything, they add the perfect sporty touch to any outfit! If only I could find a nice, simple one in leather..

NEOPRENE. Got back home from London on Monday night and have been in a jet lag coma since. Finally starting to get back to normal life again, and have soo many pictures from both NY and London to post. Starting with the outfit I wore to the Topshop Unique show last Sunday. Fell in love with this neoprene-esque top the second I spotted it at Zara. The texture, the cut, the color.. A+! Went for a really minimalistic look without much fuzz this time, but might try playing around with some layering next time, have so many fun ideas on ways to wear it!

P.S. To everyone that has been asking about my blog shop, it will be up soon! Sorry about the delay but it’s difficult to answer emails + send items to people while traveling, hope you guys understand!

LONDON. So sorry for the lack of updates, landed in London on Thursday evening and have been battling with insane jetlag and a busy schedule since. The first thing I did after touching ground in London was to lose my iphone (ironically, my boyfriend lost his in a cab in New York the day before) so for two days we’ve been somewhat disconnected from the online world, definitely an interesting experience for an addict like me who can’t go 5 minutes without looking at my phone.

Anyways, the weather here is awesome, aka cold + rainy, and I’m super happy to finally get to layer stuff, even if it’s just adding a jacket to a simple outfit like the one above. More pictures to come!
