THURSDAY. Last night was the 30th anniversary of the swedish fashion award Guldknappen at Nordiska Museet in Stockholm. A glamorous evening filled with gorgeous people and lots of champagne. Got back home at 1am and forced the boyfriend to go out and snap a picture of my outfit. Dedicated blogger or what? ;) People usually tend to wear a lot of black and white to these parties so I decided to spice it up a bit with a flowery dress from Zara and 40′s inspired hair + makeup.
Big thanks to Damernas Värld for an amazing evening and congratulations to House of Dagmar who won the award!

DESIGNERS. Ladies & gentlemen, let me present to you three of the brightest shining stars on the swedish fashion scene right now:
ALTEWAI.SAOME, NHU DUONG & HERNÃNDEZ CORNET!
These three brands really stood out last week during Stockholm Fashion Week and brought something new and very refreshing to the table. Don’t get me wrong, I love Swedish fashion but sometimes it becomes a bit too safe and predictable, and I love it when relatively “new” brands like these ones has the courrage to rock the boat! I guarantee that you’ll be seeing a lot of these amazingly talented designers in the future, personally can’t wait to get my hands on some of the stunning pieces above.

MONDAY. I think I’m the only one who’s actually embracing the cold weather we’ve been having these past couple of days, layers in August?? Hooray!! I know that I’m supposed to enjoy summer to it’s fullest since I live in a country where it’s dark pretty much 50% of the year but actually, I can’t wait for fall to arrive. It’s always been my favorite time of the year!
Decided to update my wardrobe with some fall pieces yesterday to celebrate that I’m finally starting to feel better again and stumbled upon this amazing vintage bag. It kind of reminds me of the stunning bags from Miu Miu’s a/w 11 collection that I’ve been longing for since I saw them on the runway, but for a fraction of the price. Paired with midnight blue corduroy pants, an elephant printed wool sweater layered over a white blouse and my favorite Zara heels I’m totally ready for the degrees to start dropping.
