TUESDAY. Stockholm was almost remiscent of LA yesterday, so.insanely.hot outside! Wore a black silk jumpsuit during the day which turned out to be a huge misstake as I almost died of heatstroke at lunch. When it finally cooled down a bit at sunset, I threw on my old leather skirt & a silk blouse (love, love, love the contrast of  sheer, nude, fabric against black leather!) for some sushi with my boyfriend and managed to catch the last rays of sun by the water!

Zara Clutch. Cheap Monday Sunnies.
LEO. I don’t know what it is with me and leopard print but I never seem to get tired of it. Got this baby at Zara the other day and I’m pretty sure it’s actually meant to be a wallet but I’m planning to use it as a small clutch, perfect to spice up a simple outfit!

DREAMY. Midsummer is by far my favorite holiday, nothing really beats spending time outside with the people you love when Sweden is at its most beautiful! One sweet, old Midsummer tradition that I remember loving when I was younger is to pick a bouquet of seven different flowers that you put under your pillow before going to bed in hopes of dreaming about the person you will marry.
So, late in the evening we headed out to a meadow in search for blossoms and ended up getting about one million mosquito bites while walking in the high grass. As we strolled home with our flowers in the bright night, the sky opened up and a light summer rain started to fall over us. While the birds took cover under the trees, a majestic deer suddenly appeared from the forrest, Â and I stopped and closed my eyes to take in this beautiful moment to it’s fullest.
In the old days, Midsummer was believed to be one of the times of the year when magic was strongest. I still believe it is.

H&M Dress (from 2007). Hérmes Bracelet.

FRIDAY. Me and my boyfriend celebrated Midsummer at my parents house yesterday with lots of yummie food and singing, and for once, great weather! Last year we had a Midsummer party in San Francisco with a bunch of friends and even though we had an amazing time, nothing compares to Midsummer in Sweden. Will post lots of more pictures tomorrow, now it’s movie night!
